On July 31, 2023 both our regional and provincial contracts expired.

Regional - The NSTU and HRCE have reached an agreement through active bargaining. We voted and accepted this agreement.

Provincial -The NSTU and the government have reached an agreement in principle in April. The details of the tentative agreement was released to members, and we will be voting on this contract on May 22, 2024.
